YOUTH FOR IMPLEMENTATION OF UN HABITAT NEW URBAN AGENDA

ANNOUNCEMENT

We are pleased to inform you that European Youth Organization and Institute for International and Cross-border Cooperation in cooperation with UN HABITAT, Association of European Border Regions, Central European Service for Cross-Border Initiatives Balkans, Center for Environment and Sustainable Development and United Nations Major Group for Children and Youth are organizing the International Summit entitled “Youth for Implementation of UN Habitat New Agenda”.

The International Summit will be held from 17th to 18th November, 2017 in Sremski Karlovci, Serbia and implemented through a Panel Discussions and Workshops with focus on following topics:

The Summit will highlight, among others, the objectives and problems stated in the UN Habitat Agenda (2016) and will provide the first opportunity for participants interested in the topic of SDG-s, economic development, social inclusion, equalities and sustainable urban environments, strategic and urban planning, to explore the implications of the New Urban Agenda and begin the development of a roadmap for its implementation. The conference will provide significant workshop content to address specific professional interests and foster multi-disciplinary collaboration.

Criteria for selecting participants:

  • Application form
  • Expressed interest for UN Habitat New Agenda
  • The applicants should have ability to speak and understand English
  • Paid participation fee

Participation Fee:

FOREIGN participants: 110 EUR per person
Participation Fee includes:

Accommodation per 2 nights (Hostel)

DOMESTIC PARTICIPANTS – participation fee is 2000 RSD.

Participation fee does not include travel costs.

All the participants can apply for financial support in their home countries. If needed, the organizer will provide the applicants with letters of support.

The participation fee is non-refundable even if you are unable to participate at the International Summit.

Bank commission during the transaction isn’t included in the participation fee.
